Day 01: Madrid
Welcome to the Capital of Spain. At arrival transfer by luxury car, Mercedes or Audi, with English speaking driver. Accommodation in your hotel.
Day 02: Madrid
In the morning, after buffet breakfast you will have a private tour of Madrid, by luxury car with English speaking driver. As the capital of Spain, Madrid is a city of great cultural and political importance. A complete vision of Madrid will be reached at the end of this tour. Have a panoramic sightseeing of the old part of the city. We will also approach the facade of the Royal Palace, the 18th century left its neoclassical mark on the splendid Royal Palace complex, the Sabatini Gardens and Campo del Moro, located in the city centre. The church of San Francisco El Grande, the fountains of Paseo del Prado, the Toledo Bridge, the Prado Museum, and Puerta de Alcala are also good examples of this splendid style.
Day 03: Madrid - Cordoba
After buffet breakfast, proceed to railway station on your own to pick up the high speed train to Cordoba. Only 2 hours and you are in Cordoba. A World Heritage Site by UNESCO city.
Day 04: Cordoba - Sevilla
After buffet breakast, regular tour from your hotel, for a tour of Cordoba. Meet your guide in the indicated area to start a fabulous walking tour. With our guide we will take a stroll through the historic quarter of Cordoba, to discover beautiful Mosque-Cathedral, which reflects the importance of the city during medieval times and which is a real symbol of the capital. Our first stop will be in the Mosque, due the Arab domination in the Iberian Peninsula. In the tenth century, during the rule of Abd-al-Rahman III, the medina at one point had a thousand mosques. Then, the Synagogue, with our local guide, the only one that still stands in the city, and symbol of the three cultures", because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together there for centuries.In the evening you proceed to train station on your own to take your train to Seville.
Day 05: Seville - Granada
After buffet breakfast in the morning, you will have a regular tour of Sevilla. Departure from your hotel. First stop will be in the cathedral, one of the world's most beautiful Gothic temples. The dimensions of this cathedral makes it the third largest church in the world. After the Santa Cruz quarter, we will pass by the Reales Alcazares (Royal Fortresses), Archive of the Indies declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will arrive till the Guadalquivir river, where we will find the Torre del Oro, of Arab origin, which dates back to the 13th century and was part of the ancient walls. After lunch, proceed to train station to Granada. In just 3 hours, you will be in Granada, one of the nicest cities of Spain.
You can book optional flamenco dance show in the caves of Sacromonte, a mountain where gypsies live centuries ago, they show flamenco dances, always with a local guide.
Day 06: Granada - Barcelona
After buffet breakfast proceed for a tour of Alhambra Palace & Generalife Gardens in regular tour. We will arrive at Alhambra, built on the top of a hill. The palace complex of the Alhambra and Generalife, besides the Albaicin, has been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The Alhambra was the residential of Sultan when Arabs dominated Spain and it is a beautiful collection of buildings and gardens. We will visit also the Generalife, the country residence of the sultan, in which the orchards provided the palaces with provisions as well as being a recreational area for the nobility. The views are incredible. Free lunch and in the afternoon proceed to your next destination by flight to Barcelona. Accommodation in your hotel.
Day 07: Barcelona
After buffet breakfast, you will have a private tour of Barcelona, by luxury car with English speaking driver. The variety and wealth of Barcelona's heritage provides a number of attractive routes through its various districts. This way, the traveller will get to know the most typical monuments of the city. Barcelona is a cosmopolitan Mediterranean city. We will visit the facade of Cathedral, the facade of Sagrada Familia. A unique creation that has become Barcelona's most universal symbol.
Day 08: Barcelona
